School of Evangelism
I greet you in the name of Jesus. I am happy sending this note to you in order to give you a report on the SOE 2017-2018.
On August 11, 2018 took place the ceremony of graduation of the 11th promotion of the School of Evangelism. Started in September 2017, the School of Evangelism functioned in a city called Belladere, close with the Haitian-Dominican border. In this occasion, several evangelical leaders, parents, families, friends, and home churches gathered in the hall of the Christian Reformed Church to assist the event.
With this new graduation the School of Evangelism keeps training Evangelists, missionaries, and leaders for the Church of Haiti. Several singing groups were invited to give praises to God for this great accomplishment and to encouragement the graduates.
Reverend Ladouceur Asselhomme who played the role of ceremonial leader, took opportunities to read the Story of the School of Evangelism. The assistants have heard and understood. After the ceremony, some colleagues congratulated us for the initiative. “Pastor Rosemond, would you consider to train another group of leaders for us through the school of Evangelism this year?” asked one of the pastors.
This group of leaders has returned to their home churches with the understanding of the work they have to accomplish. Eliezer Belot who has planted a new church for his home church, will keep working there. He will be teaching and preaching the word in order to edify the people and a church according to God’s will. The speech of the laureate of promotion told us a lot about the commitment of the graduates to work hard to help the churches fulfill the Great Commission.
Thanks again to Evangelism Resources, Rev. Steve L., and all the staff who have supported this ministry. Today we are proud to say that we are in an effective partnership. We are truly helping more workers to engage the field. Thanks to our graduates that are all over the country, the churches of Haiti have known a growth of quantity and quality.
I want to thank reverend Yvan Pierre, ICDM director, who has helped us with all kinds of advice, support, and prayer. Thanks to all of you co-labors who have prayed and accompanied us.
To His name be Glory!
