ICDM Christmas In Bayonnais
Christmas In Bayonnais
For the third consecutive year, “Papa Noel” made a special stop in Bayonnais for Christmas, to the great pleasure of all the children. Many thanks to Ron Fink for playing the part! Loaded with lots of gift donations coming from many generous groups, the team was able to distribute clothing and toys to hundreds of families this Christmas. The team also brought medical supplies to help stock ICDM’s clinic. Several children also received goats and one child even received a cow!
New Conference Room And Guest Quarters
ICDM has just completed construction on the second floor of the Center of Hope. The second level has a large meeting room which will be used for conferences, church services, and other large gatherings. Across the hall from the meeting room, there are 14 guest rooms to add to ICDM’s capacity to accommodate guests. Next week, ICDM will host its very first conference in the new space, with an expected 100 attendees staying on campus for this exciting week-long event.
“This new building addition represents another tremendous step forward for ICDM as the ministry continues in the mission of educating, equipping, and empowering the people of Haiti. We are so excited to see what God does next through ICDM!” - Yvan Pierre.
Water Well
ICDM took another big step forward as it began the digging of its very own well. And we say “dig”, we mean dig; by hand! The well digger’s plan is to go 100-150 feet deep to reach clean usable water. This is a big step to make ICDM self-sufficient, so it will no longer have to depend on the government for water.
Please continue to pray for ICDM and support in the way that God leads you.
