Dear friends of ICDM,
It is my pleasure to announce the Grand Opening of our new Medical Clinic in Haiti….Wow, it has finally happened….Praise God!
What began as just a dream has finally been realized. It just goes to show you the true power of effort and commitment.
It took much hard work (and wonderful donations) from many, many people to bring this important and very needed dream of a proper Medical Clinic into reality.
Yes, it may have “taken a village”, but the good news is….We have a village. Pastor Yvan and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We could not have done it without you!
Please enjoy the attached photos of the Grand Opening celebration. It was quite an exciting weekend. Literally the whole village turned out. Hundreds of people. That just speaks to the human need that together we are about to meet.
And speaking of human need, stay posted for an important announcement regarding our Children’s Feeding program for 2019. Our goal is to raise enough money to be able to feed our beautiful (600+) children a hot, nutritious lunch each school day….Something that financially we currently can’t do. The money just isn’t there.
But I’m not worried. We “have a village”, right?
And we also have one of the most powerful mottos that I have ever run across –
“It always seems impossible….Until someone does it!
