“And you are to give him the name Jesus,
because he will save his people from their sins.”
Matthew 1:21

Dear faithful ICDM partner:

What incredible news the angel brought to Joseph! The baby growing in Mary’s womb was the promised Deliverer who would set people free from their sins. It was Joseph’s advance notice of the “good news of great joy” the shepherds heard on the night of Jesus’ birth.

For believers in Haiti, and around the world today, it is still good news of great joy!

In Bayonnais, we plan a weeklong Christmas Celebration for our school children during their Christmas break. The week will feature fun activities, games, stories, Christmas drama, and a small gift for each child. And every day will include a nourishing lunch.

The gifts won’t be extravagant or expensive, and lunch will be the usual rice and beans served every school day. But were it not for our Christmas Celebration, most of the children would have no lunch at all during Christmas week, and would receive no Christmas gifts.

We also plan to share Christmas blessings with 5000 children at 97 other churches and schools affiliated with ICDM in Cap-Haitien and the NorthWest region of Haiti. Costs for the entire week—including food, gifts and activity materials—will total $25,000, or about $5 per child.

For the children and their families, the blessings will be priceless.

As you get ready for Christmas with your children and grandchildren, we invite you to include the children of Haiti. For a gift of $25 you can bless five children with a memorable Christmas. A gift of $50 will bless ten children, and $100 will bless twenty.

You can give online, or mail a check to ICDM, PO Box 762, Intercession City FL 33848. Whether online or by check, please designate your gift for “Christmas Celebration.”

Thank you, and God bless you for your generosity. We wish you a joyful Christmas with your loved ones, and a New Year filled with blessings from the One who came to save his people from their sins.

In Christ,

Yvan Pierre
